fat free cream cheese

    i tried 2% lowfat cottage cheese but cant stand it. would fat free cream cheese be a good subsitute? say, on a bagel?


    i think im getting enough diary protein (i have my ON whey 2-3 times daily with 8 ounces of fat free milk)

    no, fat free cream cheese is crap compared to cottage cheese.

    i dont understand how people can like cottage cheese. I mix it w/ sugar free jello and I still can't stand the texture

    honestly i add that shit in shakes. its almost all casein, so slow-digesting.

    anyone have cottage cheese recipies?


    im thinking about tossing in nuts with the cottage cheese, but idk. ive heard people mixing with fruits.

    cottage cheese on salads,
    cottage cheese on whole grain wheat bread
    cottage cheese and jelly
    cottage cheese and celery
    cottage cheese by itself... etc. :yum:

    not a fan of cream cheese though :o

    makes for a great quick snack,
    I usually keep cold chicken cubes on the fridge (grilled ala' george foreman grill), throw them onto some bagged salad and add cottage cheese "al gusto". :yum:

    I can't seem to eat it often enough when I buy it. Stuff gets spoiled :o But I just throw pepper on mine and I'm good to go :yum:
