Fat and abs

    OK correct me if Im wrong....but inorder to get results from ab workouts you need to have minimal fat in teh area correct. Then wahts teh point of fat people doing crunches and other ab workouts? Its not like it will target teh fat in that area right?:dunno:

    youshould still work the muscle but you wont get a six-pack from doing crunches alone

    will you help "reduce" fat or gain anything else from it besides that WHEN you loose weight you'd see them?

    fat people are fat cause they're eating at night and watching infomercials. that's when they see those useless things that are all named "ab-[insert verb]" are on. Add in the fake amazing results they offer with the low self-esteem of the fat people, the infomercial people make lots of money.

    they will be stronger and better developed....they do help burn calories because you are exercising but you have to loose BF over all to get a sixer...

    correct. if you want a 6-pack, you need to lower your overall bodyfat %. but doing ab exercises still helps make your abs bigger/harder
