i love doing intervals on the elliptical.

I don't trust the machine on telling me how many calories I burn, but i do pretty high intensity intervals for either 20 or 40 minutes (burning approx. 225 +/420+ respectively). I "travel" at least 10km in 20minutes or 19 in 40m, and doing the peaks of the intervals at about 50% maximum inensity of the machine.

haven't done that since early march though.

Fasted cardio? As in on an empty stomach? I usually ride the bike for 30 minutes and keep my HR at 135-140 for that half hour.

IMO bike is the worst type of cardio. Get on the treadmill, stepmill, or elliptical.

Bike is the easiest, I find it takes much more effort to get my HR up. If you want hard cardio, get on the step mill.

Though I'm not sure you're in good enough shape for the step mill, work up to it. Shit will kick your ass.

I use the elliptical for 35 min and keep my HR around 150. I try to stay away from the treadmill, don't want any of the health problems associated with the impact from running.

I've tried the stepper, didn't really get much from it

my heart rate on the bike is usually up in the 140 range after about 2 minutes at a medium-high resistance

    Not a stair-stepper. A step mill.

    This is a step mill

Interesting. I just hate bikes. I also never see anybody that looks good on the bikes. All the figure chicks at my gym (all 2 of them) live on the step mill and the one NPC guy does too. I mostly see old people on bikes.

I only use stationary bikes after legs on leg day.

Every other day I prefer 20-25 minutes of 150-165 hr on the eliptical

Does anyone know why I was able to do 3 miles on the treadmill yesterday for 26:30 mins at an average of 6.5-8.0 speed. Yet if you ask me to do that on a concrete floor or regular surface like a sidewalk, I get tired real quick. I have flat feet by the way. Shit sucks.

I did fasted cardio when I was losing weight.

I lost 135+lbs doing it. Amazing results. Will do the same when I cut.
