I think the main problem with the diet my fiance and I have is that we have a hard time making time to cook. We've been ending up @ fast food every day for lunch (we work together) and 1/2 of the week for supper is fast food. What do you guys do for a good lunch @ work? What is something good you can bring?

People say they don't have time to cook and what not. But I take 1 hour a week (that's right kids, one whole big hour out of my life) and I prepair all my lunches and plan out all our dinners in advance. On the weekends I eat whatever I'd like, within moderation. This way you have no excuse to grab take out or fast food, just reach in the fridge and it's all there for you. Loosing weight isn't easy but once you make the right lifestyle change (not dieting.....lifestyle, say it with me....lifestyle) you'll never go back to jamming McDonald's down your throat day in and day out again...I know I was you!

    Good luck:x:

That's why you pack your lunches the night before. Unless you're picky and want freshly cooked stuff.

Take a cooler. Me and my boyfriend both do- we take our drinks and food. Pack it in the morning, take it with, and fuck the haters. Cheaper AND better for you since you're in control of your diet.

do like julu said... set aside an hour or something on sunday and cook a whole mess of stuff that you can use to make different dishes (i do salmon and chicken breast, usually... maybe some pasta) and you'll be set. chicken'll be good on sandwiches, salads, or just by itself. and if you make your lunches the night before, it's a lot easier

yeah - itll be pretty easy for me to do it. but she will be another story. Just like with drinks... she always says she has to drink a coke because her head hurts (she gets cluster migraines) and she needs the caf from the coke.

She is one of the most picky eaters i have ever seen. it's truly a turn off to see someone stuff their face with a bunch of fries or whatever. but, no one is perfect. It's a good thing I am in control of the money - im going to help her put a stop to this crap. it's eating my bank account (not like cooking @ home is THAT much cheaper).

What about me, someone who's underweight trying to gain weight rapidly. Would fast food be an effective way to do that? Or is that just unhealthy?

    1. cooking at home is a lot cheaper, no matter what.

    2. take a fucking sandwich and an apple or something. make extra food for dinner, and take the leftovers. its not that difficult.

get her some caffeine pills or an OTC migraine medication. Sounds like she's using every excuse she can think of to keep eating like shit.
