Keeping my fingers crossed this will somehow be priced stupid cheap like the P6's that came in.

If they are..... I'm buying a truckload of them.

Hmm, depending on price, I might want to jump on one whenever they come in. Still need to find a P6/225 though.

Summit has the P6 German Police trade-ins for $395 still.

These Zurich police trade-in 228s look similar to the ones Summit has for $550. Wonder if TopGun will have them for cheaper :noes:

Now I'm on the fence. I've already got a P229 SAS Gen II in 9mm, which is about as close as you can get to a non-railed P228. But the P228 is always said to be THE Sig to have in 9mm.

I need to make more money. :hs:

The difference is the stamped slide on the 228; on paper, it's only a hair lighter, but you do notice a difference in your hand.

The Sigforum will get first dibs. I have not posted this info anywhere but here. As soon as they are available for purchase, they will go up on the web-site and I will post the details here. We haven't posted any info about these on our web-site yet either.

I do expect that we will finish inspecting/grading late tomorrow. Should be up on the web-site late tomorrow or early Friday. There are no cherry examples in this batch so far. It is looking like we will have:

    • Very Good - Minor holster wear
    • Good - Light to moderate holster wear
    • Fair - Moderate + holster wear

These are not P6's and we will not see the numbers of them like we did with the P6's. Wholesale price on these is higher than what retail is on P6's. It is not firm yet, but after we crunch the numbers, they will most likely start in the $439 range and top out in the $500-525 range.

All appear to have spent most of their lives in holsters and shot very little. All are perfectly functional. A good cleaning is probably due on all of them. Surprisingly, most of these were lubed properly and the frame rails are all in very good to excellent condition. We are grading them by external finish wear.

Some of them have Hogue or factory rubber grips. All of the barrels have what appears to be a Swiss pressure proof mark. They all have Trijicon night sights that are dim at best. Date codes vary, but most seem to be early 90's.

There are 3 different Swiss marks on them. Some have the Zürich Police etching like the one in the original post. Some have the Swiss banner and others have the lion with the banner. I don't know the proper terminology for these markings. They are all triple serial numbered guns and also have German proof marks. I will try to post photo's of these.

They come with two 13RD magazines and come in H&K P30 cardboard boxes. These are the boxes from the replacement pistols.

As you can imagine, we are getting many, many emails and phone calls about these. We do not have a list started or any set aside for anybody, so please keep an eye on this thread for updates.
