I need some new material, guys. I've read most of the classic and some newer stuff but i'm going to drop by the bookstores and the library next week before i head back to London and it's a looong way to go and then got 2 weeks of absolute jackshit to do. So i need something to really get me going.

Recommend both good and old stuff, even if you think i may have read it.

I'm more into heroic fantasy, epic stuff like Malazan Empire and Ice and Fire and some of the more obscure stuff like Tom Holt material.

    Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson

    Discworld series - Terry Pratchett. It's lol-worthy.
You can read norwegian, right? The themes for the discworld books are here http://no.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skiveverdenen
You don't have to read them in order.

Oh, and if you want to try something else for fun the Sherlock Holmes books are good too.

Read just about all the Discworld series. My absolute favourites has to be the Night Watch ones. I love every single one of them

Cheers for the Mistborn one, forgotten about that one.

The Icewind Dale Trilogy by R.A. Salvatore, then if you like it read the rest of the Drizzt books.
