I'll be travelling to see family for a little bit (going to birmingham alabama, as well as my hometown 30 mins away from NYC...) and was wondering if there are any great tattoo artists in these areas that I could look into. I'm sure there are....I know of some in NYC, I don't care what they charge but I'm looking for the best in the area.

Any links or info would be greatly appreciated :wavey:

Hmm no portfolio online :wtc: I found that a previous artist who worked there, greg rojas, moved to one shot tattoo...but I'm not too impressed with the people there. I've seen 4-5 different shops online so far, nothing too crazy :(

ah thank you so much....looking through it now...the $150 an hour price tag scares me unless its leaps and bounds better than my local shop- might be some good artists, not done looking through it tho.

It could be worth it, I'll search. My shop is $100 an hour and my artist is better than all the artists at moms IMO..

could be an area price thing do. If people are willing to pay $150/hour, then they'll charge it.

yeah...I have no problem paying that price, as long as it is $50 better than what I'm already getting know what I mean? ...how much does anil gulpta (sp?) charge? I don't really like his style but I bet its a shitload.

I go to josh, I get along with him, he doesn't intimidate me like some of the artists there, and none of the designs i'm planning will have anything ridiculously intricate, so i'm fine with him. :)
