    those glasses, urgh.

i dont know about in USA/Canada, but i've noticed alot of yellow(more on the mustard end, not flouro) and purples for colours. (im in Aus, and its smack bang in the middle of winter here, theres still some winter clothes being sold in most stores)

Also, grey always works good for a neutral colour without always wearing black (or all black), and seems to be rising in popularity, i've seen a few outfits in all grey, but each piece was in a different shade, and it worked surprisingly well. I think it was because there were alot of layers involved, so instead of looking like an average outfit where someone chose to wear all one colour, it looked well-thought out and stylish.

Ive also noticed brown coming through and competing with black as a popular base colour. The right type and amounts of brown give a nice warm look too (this i wouldnt suggest doing an entire outfit in), but if you need suits and the like for work, im not sure what you could do with brown that wont make you look like you just stepped out of the 70's lol. Sometimes black or grey just look more formal though... :dunno:

i think knits are going to be big too - bold, chunky and warm.

oo, almost forgot - a good leather jacket, a coat in a nice, almost bold colour, and feminine detailing have been my favourite things about this winter! im getting a coat in a muted cobalt(only way i can describe the colour lol) for my birthday in a few weeks :wiggle:

edit: cripes. i kinda cant find any pics to vocalise what im talking about, sorry :eek3:

i agree with beebee about grey and black for this fall/winter. otherwise, i don't know. i don't try to predict what's coming in next just so that i can imitate the trends. just look to what's been on the runway, what the models are photographed wearing on the streets, fashion magazines, and street fashion blogs of big, trendsetting cities if you're so deadset on trying to predict what's going to be in with the masses

So expect a lot of lace, and ruffles and bows. Floral-ish prints. Also very blocky items- almost mod-ish.

i love brown and earthy greens but that doesnt really work in office clothes... those are always more gray/black

there are so many styles and colour schemes that i can never make up my mind so my closet is all over the place and i dont really have OUTFITS more like random shirts and pants... it sucks

what bothers me are expensive items like winter shoes and coat. i cant afford to get more than 1 per season lol so i need ones are match with everything
