Beat it on my little bros 360, just picked up the CE for PC on Amazon for $40. Which mods are good? Obviously MMM is critical, but what else?

Did you play all the official expansions? (ex. The Pitt, Broken Steel)

    Martens Monster Mod

What it basically does it rebalance the enemies in the game making it more strategic/harder. It adds so much more to the game.

In work now will post some good mods here.

http://www.falloutnexus.com is a good place to start you can sort their 20000 downloads by popularity so its a good place to start.

Isn't there some sort of problem with the latest patch? Some mods don't work or something?

Here are what I consider essentials. You can always add pretty much as many other mods as you want as long as they are compatible and there are programs that can check for you or even ensure as best as possible that the mods you have will work together.

I don't know if there is a Wyre Bash for Fallout3 but it was the one used for Oblivion to ensure the best possible compatibility between mods.

    Anyway

    Fallout 3 Mod Manager

Fallout Script Extender (FOSE) : this allows you to use mods that drastically change things in the game like modding weapons, new animations and so forth
    http://fose.silverlock.org/

Weapon Mod Kits (this one is just awesome)

    Zooming Scoped Weapons

and FOOK which is mentioned in my last post, but there are other overhaul mods but FOOK adds the most content and the least gameplay changes, while the others adds less content and more gameplay changes. So it is a matter of opinion. Do you want similar gameplay with MMM but a shitload more cool weapons, armor and harder NPCs? Or do you want more realistic gameplay?

    FOOK: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4448

    FWE: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2761

There might be other overhaul mods out, but last time I played (3-4 months ago), these were the main two

It broke some features. The only one I know of is not being able to shoot at explosives like grenades in VATS, but there are mods that fixes the issues the best they can. I know there are more issues but I don't know them, check out "Fake Patch" to try to fix the issues.

MMM, Fook, all official xpacks, unofficial patch, slower leveling (because you will want to use increased spawns from MMM). I would say that is a good core group of must haves :bigthumb:

    Slower Leveling is essential too.

The default leveling is crazy fast.
