I'm thinking of trading in my 11-87 supermag for an fnp-9.

one of my local gun shops will give me

the handgun, 3 16 rnd mags a holster and probably a few boxes of ammunition

    for the shotgun straight up.

    is this a good deal??

i only paid 300 for the shotgun and it has about 5 boxes of shells thru it. got it off a duck hunting acquaintance that got laid off and needed money fast.

the 11-87 is worth alot more than you paid for it. They are going for 650-750 on Gun Broker.

That being said, FNP-9's are going for $350-$450 on Gun Broker.. Could always just sell the shotgun on gunbroker, then purchase the FNP-9. :dunno:

the gun shops round here give you 60% of what they think they can get out of it, so they probaly wernt trying to rip u off. But you can allways get more selling it privately, take it to a gunshow and stick a sign on your back and walk around with it.

Screw that, keep the shotgun, save up 300 bucks and buy the FN to add to your new collection.

My friend just called me, he traded his ruger Super Blackhawk .44 he got last year for x-mas and a mossberg 835 in on an 11-87 SPS earlier today, I'm pretty sure it's a 3" though :hsugh: He wanted the NWTF model with the monte carlo stock and ribless barrel but I guess it was too rich for his blood.
