Any good links or vids on what motion to get them up? I rested them on my knees and then rock back and once the DBs are parallel to the ground i push up. I couldn't get up the 65's. Help.

then they are too heavy for you. I just set mine on my chest and fall back, then begin pressing

not necessarily true, I can't hammercurl 80lb dumbells, but once i do get them up for incline dumbell press it feels too light. i will try to keep them close to my chest now and try your method out next time tho :hs:

You're not supposed to curl the weight up!!

I usually set the weight on my knees, kick the weight up and fall back with it once it's at my chest.

for incline, set them on your knees, kick them up with your knees and rest them in almost a shoulder press type of position. If you don't understand this, watch someone that uses heavy DB's on shoulder presses or incline press

I clean the DB's up to shoulder level then sit down with them when I'm doing incline usually.

that method isn't going to work when you get heavier. I remember cavefish said his gym only goes up to like 100 lbs, which is probably too light for him

Yeah even the gym I'm at over the summer stops at 100, but I generally do all my heavy work with barbell and occaisonally will do a few sets of DB incline with anything from 60-90 or so and I can clean them up just fine.

Once you get higher than that it can become a problem.
