Faded trim around windshield

    my magnum's plastic trim is turning like white. i'm talking about the strip of black plastic shit on the sides of outside of the windshield. armor all only lasts 2 or three days before it turns again, so i know that isn't the right thing to bring it back. someone told me baby oil, but i am doubting this.

    it's not starting to break down and flake off or anything.

    so wat should i do? please help meh. sorry if i should have been able to find this info by searching. :hs:

    I've had good luck polishing out smooth black plastic trim with Clearkote's Moose Wax (not the Carnauba Moose but the brown version that is a cleaner wax).

    You will still have to keep up on it a bit, maybe every couple of months but it will last longer than a dressing will.

    I had the same problem with my Nissan's wiper cowl. I painted that sucker with the Krylon Fusion black paint. It still looks like new, 4 months later.
