I have a feeling that some one is clicking on my facebook ads just to use up my daily CPV $$$. In the past month, my facebook billing has increased quite a bit. Here's a screenshot of my Google analytics page. The average time on site for facebook is only 10 seconds.

The question is, what would you do? Drop facebook ads altogether?? I hate spending ad money that's not bringing me results.

    Cost/Benefit analysis.

How much does it cost you?
If you werent paying for it, what else could/would you do with the money?
What are the actual benefits of keeping with it?

The money isn't that much. What puzzles me is that my google CPC time on site is much longer. Why would my facebook clicks be so short? Both are pay per click ads.

IMO: nobody on facebook is on there looking to spend money. They shop somewhere else. Just make a "fans of jcolman" group and be done with it.

my ad has been running for 30 days, ive gotten 2 new customers from it so far, those 2 customers have already paid for 2 years worth of facebook advertising, i think it was worth it.

the facebook clicks are probably accidental, so they close it right away.

No no....I think they're doing it on purpose. Just like the little voices in my head. Everyone is out to get me.

I click facebook adds on accident all the time because they stash them in areas near things I actually want to click. It's a good scheme if you ask me. Google adds are only on the top and side of the page and unless it is someone putting google adds on their website the link is small and not a whole image with in a character length from another link.

I knew it. Bastards! I guess I'll have to hunt them down and kill them all since I don't know who's doing it.

I've had clients successfully get credit for bogus clicks on facebook. Not sure who they emailed, but approach them with your analytics and make a stink and they'll most likely give you a voucher.

Facebook's been in the shit a couple of times for ad related fuck ups.

I know. I stopped using them for a while because it was getting out of hand. I started using them again a few months ago because I was promised that click fraud was "under control". Apparently not.

If it says FB is 100% New Visits does that mean FB thinks each click was a different person? Is that were the bots come in?

When dealing with paid search (PPC, Google Adwords or Facebook Adwords) and Cost Per Click marketing, only 1 unique visitor (based on IP address) can be counted per day.

This means that someone would be incapable of "running up" you bill with fb or google adwords on a daily rate. But they could be clicking once per day, or from a bank of computers.

Good luck dude. Any conversion from facebook? thats the real question.
