Ever since I started working out mabye 5 months ago, I just haven't been getting a good nights sleep at all. I used to go to bed around midnight but now I can't fall asleep until like 3 and sometimes 4am, it fucking sucks. You would think after a big day of heavy lifting in the gym I would be tired, but no.

Going to sleep so late also fucks up my eating schedule.

What can I do to help me go to sleep earlier? Just getting in bed and laying there in the dark with my eyes closed doesn't work. Some nights when I have something important going on the next day i'll take a nyquil to help me fall asleep but I don't do that often and I know it's not good to have to depend on nyquil.

I'm willing to try anything, except for sleeping pills.

    HELP

If you can't sleep, get out of bed. I do the same thing and I will lay in bed starting at the ceiling until the sun comes up if I dont get outta bed.

Do you take naps during the day? What time do you usually work out?

Are you taking ZMA before you sleep? Although you say you're just havin' a problem fallin' asleep, not stayin' asleep.

Do you hang out in your room while you're home? Some people suggest not spendin' a lot of time in your room durin' the day, it should be associated with sleep only, not entertainment from TV, PC, etc.

Don't keep a clock in your immediate vision. When you look at a clock and see how little time you have before you have to wake up it can make it harder to fall asleep.

After I go to sleep I wake up and piss at least 3 times everynight, thisjust started happening about 3 months ago, its the most annoying thing ever, it happens if I don't drink anything for hours before as well, I always have a dried mouth when i wake up

Try some longer lasting protein like meat or casein (ie. in CC)

The way will digest way to quick leaving your body catabolic for longer
