F&N crew...help me lose a few lbs

    Ok long story short...i've spent the last 6 months or so trying to bulk up because i wanted to be bigger...and its worked...a year ago i weighed 175 or so...now i'm at 200 some of that is fat ..but the majority is muscle

    the problem is im going in the air force march 14th and they have that stupid max height/weight limit. Since they measured me at 5'11 i have to be under 197. When i got weighed and measured by my recruiter i was about 207 and he measured me at 6'. The max for 6' is 202 so i worked on dropping down to 200...now though i have to be under 197 :mad: and all i have been doing lately is lots of cardio and lifting lighter weights


    My question is this....should i just stop lifting alltogether? And what kind of diet plan would you reccomend..i cant seem to drop below 198. I've started drinking diet and water and really tried to watch what i eat but i guess its STILL not working


    HELP :hsd: i have until march 14th and i would really like to be around 195 to be on the safe side

    Aslong as you are under BF% limit you are fine at whatever weight

    I went in at 6' 220-225

    they no longer do the body fat test unless you are already active duty :hs:

    Don't stop lifting!!! Diet and Cardio. Lifting burns more cals then Cardio. Just add Cardio to days you don't lift and lower your cal intake.

    ya thats what i thought...my recruiter told me not to lift at all though which i think is total bullshit


    why should i put myself in worse shape and lose strength just to get under weight :ugh: theres gotta be a better way


    this whole policy is total bullshit if you ask me...i'm probably in better shape than 90% of the kids that sign up yet im...."overweight" :ugh:

    you can probably just cut out your carbs and take some caffeine and you'll lose that much in water weight

    i thought they measure you like everyday in basic though :dunno:

    bah they told me they were gonna monitor my weight and I only got weighed twice.

    Also you can cut the carbs but keep the protein up high so you don't lose muscle during your cut.
