I only have 2 slots left and i was looking to do something via RAIDing my Aperture/Photoshop/Illustrator/etc apps and projects.

Dumb idea? I already have 2x250gb I was thinking of getting 2x500 and striping the 2x250 HDDs.

    So you'd have a 500GB RAID 0 with 2x250GB and two single 500GB drives?

i'd rather have good performing drives, and data back ups be redundant instead of 1 huge drive. :dunno:

I've got two 500GB Seagates striped to 1TB for performance. Works really well.

I love the speed of my Western Digital 1TB Caviar Black drive. It's nearly as fast as my Velociraptor when transferring files.
