There is definitely a lot of crap on my macbook's HDD that I don't need, is there a program that takes all the extra crap off ( not just those languages packs ) or can someone tell me what I don't need on here. Thanks in advance guys.

language packs, printer drivers, maybe some of the kids games

the rest of it has some utility or purpose

if you fuck around and start deleting stuff randomly, you might cause certain things to stop working. be careful.

be careful about deleting language packs. did it, and apparently deleted something that kept the permissions messed up on my computer until i did a reinstall.

printer drivers can go without a problem though.

95gb left on the lappy? jesus, consider yourself lucky. After I installed my apps and transferred music and a couple movies over to my 120gb lappy, I had 35gb left. and i told it to only install engrish, no printer drivers and no xcode utilities.

get a program called whatsize and it will show you everything on your hdd and sort it by how much space it takes up. make sure you know what you're deleting first though.
