    Seagate drives go for about 25c a gigabyte on Newegg.

    i just got a 500gig sata from newegg for $140. not too shabby.

    I want that size/price but need a IDE drive.

    So buy a 500GB IDE drive then. Cheap. IDE. Hard drive. 500GB. Newegg. Do you need someone to breast-feed you?

    It's an ok enclosure for free, but any more and it's a waste of money. Build quality on it is the shits.
