The option to eject no longer comes up i the task bar, or when I right click the drive under my computer.

I can still eject my zip drives but for some reason my one external wont anymore.. any ideas?

Is it formatted in ntfs? I don't think you have an eject option with ntfs...

btw, you don't need to "safely remove"/eject USB drives. if you aren't writing the drive, no damage will be caused by just unplugging it all willy nilly

Eject was only necessary in Windows 2000 for the drives.

I'm not even talking about being necessary, I just mean as an option.
My flash drives are all formatted in ntfs, so I don't see the option anymore. But i'm pretty sure it was there before I formatted them.
