A&P Extension tubes

    Who has used some, school me please... I am shooting a couple weddings in teh near future and want something for ring shots and super close up details

    Just slap 'em on and shoot. Your camera will do all the hard work for you.

    Oh, and be prepared to deal with DOF measured in micrometers.

    They work pretty well for me. AF is kinda useless, so I shoot in manual and rock back and forth until I get what I want. I shot these with the 85 1.8 and 36mm (12+24) tube.

    I was planning on using it with my new 50 1.8, 85 1.8 and maybe my 50-150 2.8.


    what tubes do you have ?

    I am not niche photog, i have learned to make alot of money as a photog in vegas, i do a bit of everythign

    I have the Kenko ones, comes in a set of 3 (12, 24, 36).

    sweet deal, ill buy that set then. So AF sucks huh?

    It 'hunts' a lot, like its never able to lock focus. It also depends on which tubes you are using. When it's just the 12, it works ok, but once you start stacking more, the AF gets worse.

    I have kenko auto extension tubes 12,20,36mm

    That was with 12mm only on my 28-70mm F2.8
