This one is a new Tacoma that was just bought by a close friend of my brother and I. He has had it about 2 weeks and I've finally got around to getting protected for him. I washed it when he got.......he didn't let the dealer!........and I notice no swirls. So, this one was going to be fun and easy! Hey, no inside to do either!

    Wash Cycle:

(NXT Tech Wash/Dawn Mix (1oz. of each and 30oz.'s of water) via Foam Gun)
I sprayed the entire vehicle down. Tons of foam! People actually stopped and came out of their cars to watch! I let it soak for 5 minutes and rinsed. I then followed this up with a semi-rinseless wash with DP's 4-in-1. Wheels, tires, and wells too. Super easy and fast this way........no worries about spotting either!

    Paint Correction & Protection:
(XMT's 360 with EDGE2K Green pads via Cyclo)
I just wanted to clean and seal the paint. Nothing better for this than 360. I even used it on the windows an mirrors. Very easy to use.......even on a dark color in the sun. I then came back and topped it with Opti-Seal. I used a Wolfgang applicator pad....using the black foam. Two sprays to prime it and then 4 more for the entire vehicle; windows and trim too. This product makes 360 look so good. My bud's comment was...."I didn't know it had this MUCH flake in the paint!". I have to admit, it looks pretty good!

The tires and wells were treated with Street Appeal's Tire Dressing.

Thanks guys! Glad to be back!

Awesome job, I have a Tacoma just like that, except it's an extended cab instead of a four door.

Nice! Opti-Seal makes a hell of a topper/sealant, eh? Nothing easier and it looks freakishly wet. :)

I rinesless wash it after letting it dwell. I do this by spray DP's 4 and 1 as a quick detailer (4:1) all over the wet vehicle. I then simply dry it. You would be amazed on how clean my drying towel is!

hmm.....interesting concept. You have any issues with the soap drying or streaking in the sun?

That looks really good! Do you just have the foam gun hooked to a pressure washer? Does it work with dirty cars too or just semi-clean ones?

    Where in GA are you?

I've had some up here in the mountains that I've had to blast off first. Lot's of dirt roads up here.

I'm in north GA. Blue Ridge.

can that foam gun be used on a regular hose with DI water or can it only be used with a pressure washer?

I need to really get some connectors and try it out without my pressure washer.

You're not the first to ask.
