What's the deal with these? Never tried to get one before, but a domain I want was due to expire on the 2/2/09, so I decided to wait until it expired. It hasn't been renewed.

    Creation Date........ 2007-02-02
    Registration Date.... 2007-02-02
    Expiry Date.......... 2009-02-02

But it's still unavailable, apparently. Do they have a while to renew it or something? :dunno:

When a domain name expires, it enters a "grace" period, during which the current registrant can still renew. This grace period varies by registrar, but usually lasts from 30 to 45 days

Try to register it daily. If it's registered through godaddy, you may try registering through namecheap, etc.

Yeah, and I think GoDaddy will let you "rescue" a domain you let expire from the grace period for the low, low price of $80.
