Holden is a vital engineering center for GM and was key in the development of the Zeta RWD platform

Hell, I'm not wild about it either. I'd much rather see Opel(Vauxhall by extension?) and Holden survive than most of the current GM lineup in the US.

pontiac, saturn, hummer and possibly a few others will fall when GM goes bankrupt

Holden is atleast profitable right now :dunno: They may axe local manufacturing, the brand itself wont go under anytime soon. Holden is GM in Australia

We should keep giving them more money. Even if it's almost guaranteed we'll never get it back. :hsugh:

i cant see large v8 rwd cars being profitable as the main transport for much longer either

Holden have already said the next Commodore will be going back to the VN size.
