all of my lenses are 77mm, except for one (70-200, go figure) is 67mm.

Can i just buy one 77mm CP filter, and hook it to one of those "67-77mm adapters" and put that on my 70-200? do they work okay?

i can't imagine why not, but i have no clue.

no, you won't be able to use the hood with a 77mm filter on it

i've never understood the use of a hood except when shooting out doors in high sun light. :dunno:

just light hitting the lens period.

indoors where there isn't a worry about a lamp off to the side or when it's dark outside, yeah ... no point in using it, other than to protect the element.

you get extra points if you combine that with a battery grip
