    First id like to say that I suck at excel for the most part and would appreciate any help I'm able to get from you guys.

    I work for a lender and we have a spreadsheet we send to brokers. My spreadsheet is done for the most part but I need add something to where if a certain interest rate is inserted it gets flagged or the text changes color because it is below the rate where we can lend. Basically this will prevent communicating something we cant do.

    Highlight the values you want to check

    Format->Conditional Formatting

    Thanks for the quick reply, this works for me because I will understand how to check for the value when rates change each weak. Im trying to make so that its a field that you can change and it checks it against the rates that have been calculated. I can send the spreadsheet if that helps.

    Yeah - you need to give a better example if that didn't help you.
