    Well heres what i'm doing.

I'm making a excel log for my work outs... fuck it heres a SS:

So I'd like to take the AVERAGE of all 3 numbers in 1 cell.
Then compare it to the average for all 3 numbers in the cell next to it.
So I can compare % gains over time.

My problem is using the =AVERAGE formula i can't get it grab all 3 numbers in 1 cell with the commas. is there anyway to do this?

Or if someone wants to suggest a different perhaps better organized way to do this, that works too.

ya, you could put each set in its own cell and then avg them that way.

Separate cells or your only option is VB.

Doing them separately will allow you to calculate volume easily too ...

again make 3 columns, but you can also make a 3 cell wide header for the title using cell merge, so it's still understandable what everything is
