The bottom 2 diamonds was my 9yo son shooting the same rifle.

I have not used the A-MAX for hunting before but after seeing 3 deer killed with them last year and talking to a few other hunters/shooters. I am going to give them a shot. I will probably kill my does with them this year and see how they kill.

    Obviously.

I'd not be surprised to learn that that rifle has already racked up a teenage body count in the double digits. Likely be more, but he wasn't using cop-killer "HOLLOW POINTS", and some of the little bastards crawled away.

Around 3-4inches it isnt too picky which is nice. Plus no focus knob ftw. Although I thought the amber dot would have been slightly bigger

It suprises me that your Hornady outshot the Federal Match, you sandbagging or using the bipod? I've never seen a Federal group with that kind of spread, maybe they are going downhill.

yea basically. when I sight in I just get it in the general area of 12:00 and 1"-2" high then I shoot

When I get ready to hunt I sight in based on what I`m hunting, caliber and distance for shots.
