    Another week, another band.

I'm gonna just introduce the bands on this thread every week, instead of making new threads every week.
Gives this thread more substance then.

This week, I'll introduce an instrumental band this time called Giants Will Fall

Listen to "From Here On In". The other song is good also though.
    They're muy bueno.

Ok. Another update. I don't know how many of you guys knew this band, but they broke up awhile ago and they were really good too.

    Name Taken

They're like Indie Punk. Click name above as usual to listen to them. I'd say "Control" > "This Was Never" > "Cover Up" for the order to listen to.

I wish they were still together. They would've made it big.

Oh yeah. And question: Is one band a week too little? Introduce more per week?

You just have different tastes. I, on the other hand, have more than one taste.

Just for you. Try this band then. Bridge To Solace
    They're hardcore/metal.

Well it would help if most mainstream music didn't completely suck ass.

    another excuse
Name Taken is reportedly back on tour. With the political climate in the US, they "are looking to use their music to make a mark and get an approrpiate government established" or something like that - taken from their myspace a while ago. .... Although I do remember reading that news about 3 months ago maybe, so who knows what they're doing now (I do remember them selling all their equipment earlier too *eek*)

Can I add to this thread?
I like your taste, so maybe you'll enjoy:
    "The National" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_National_(band))

It's time for some Disco fever with some Rock.

    Tigercity <- Click it.
I'd say listen to "Other Girls" > "Are You Sensation" > "Let Her Go" > "Red Lips"
I'm planning on watching them in Dec.

Do you guys know any other bands similar to them?
I tried Last.fm, but their similar bands aren't that similar. And Pandora's music doesn't even have Tigercity in their system.
