Tuesday: slammed my heel into the corner of the coffee table. What made that really awful was that I have localized tendinitis where my achilles attaches to my heel, so the area is tender to any sort of regular touch, let alone slamming it into the corner of something. Couldn't walk right for a few days.

Thursday morning: Woke up with a full blown flu that I got from two guys who came to work when really sick. Had a temperature of ~103 on and off for a day and a half. I'm still sick and only now starting to get better. If I miss legs tomorrow because I'm still sick I'm going to be very

I caught the flu last week, got REALLY bad Monday and Tuesday. I ended up taking a week off. I was 3 weeks into a 10 week program ... I'll be restarting it tomorrow. :big grin:

Shit's always gonna happen and get in your way, but you gotta learn to just work through it. I usually try to work through the times I have bronchitis and the flu...unless I have a running fever on that day, which I'll just take off. :o

    All part of the game.
Just avoid the gym if you are still contagious, not the best etiquette for the others.

Me, I like working through the downfalls, but times you cant. Im off for a week recovering from a vasectomy so I feel your pain.

I make it a habit to stay away from others when I'm really sick and I wish others would too. Nothing worse than some sick idiot spreading his shit all over the gym.

point is, if you're sick, stay home. missing 1 or 2 days isn't gonna break you and it doesn't prove to anyone that you're hardcore or dedicated

just work through it man. the past three months have been hell for me but i've still made progress. had a kidney/bladder infection in november(ran a temp of 103 for 2 days), then the end of november caught bronchitis, then beginning of december caught a stomach virus, and now i'm dealing with a fractured femur from early january. try switching your goals somewhat and move on. life is full of trials and tribulations, its your choice whether you suffer.
