It feels like I'm in a rut lately. Things are decent, but they are not good or great. I'm beginning to realize that having nice material possessions won't make you happy. Been in a little rut at work. In a rut with my social life. I'm not sure what's going on anymore. Do you ever get the urge to just go on vacation somewhere only to never come back home? Screw it all, and start anew.

I've done it. Twice. I usually end up coming home eventually.

What's keeping you here? Answer that instead of what's making you leave.

I have often thought about moving to somewhere obscure...some small place in Wyoming or South Dakota near the interstate and getting a job as a waitress in a truck stop...I think it would be a hoot.
    Let's see what Spring brings...

I've considered running away to an unindustrialized country and retiring. I've also considered running away to Europe and just living the urban lifestyle.

Sometimes a change is bad, sometimes a change is good. But in order to find your happy median, you really should travel. Sometimes it's the only way.

And yes, North American women for the most part are dirty, lying, cheating whores. Sorry if that is harsh, but in comparison to what I have experienced in other countries i've lived (Germany, England, South Africa), it is true. American society is fucked and if you can't handle it, you probably shouldn't be a part of it.

Maybe, just maybe there's a trucker out there who will take your breath away at the truck stop! :o Seriously though, it's a good plan, the simple life is very appealing. No dealing with so many rude people, and the annoyances of life in a congested city.
