GUN Ever noticed in the chainsaw scene in Scarface that the Beretta has an FTE?

    Yeah, blanks are horrible for stovepiping. Im a reenactor so we use a lot of blanks are it is real hard to even get a full mag to cycle with most blanks. Youre gonna have a lot of those just becuase the pressure aint there to cycle the bolt, even with the blank adapter.

    Absolutely right on there. I like using more hot blanks to try reducing FTEs but in my carbine I tend to have it jam every 5th round. On my blanked 1911, every 3rd round FTE.

    bolt action FTW! My k98 never jams, haha. But my buddies Mp40 can sometimes rip through a whole mag without jamming.

    Meh.... Kraut re-enactor...
    I sometimes take my 1903 into the field... but the lack of stripper clips and being a lefty make it for some painful shooting, and I would usually be the first one out. I'm usually on point so I take the carbine with me, even though it jams.
