Ever heard of a CD-ROM drive that keeps opening up?

I had some guy call me and he said that his cd-rom keeps coming out. LIke when it started his computer up, it popped out for no reason. I just told him maybe a new one? Anyone know any other solution?

I seem to recall there was a virus that did just that. That's all it did, too.

That was back when Win95 or Win98 first came out, though. I find it hard to believe it's still on anyone's PC.

there was actually a backdoor that did that... someone sent u and executable... u ran it, and with your dns, they could control certain things on your pc.. like..ejecting your cdrom which was the most fun :)
