318's are cool, why not a Golf/GTI, or even a Corrado?

If you could get that for $10k, take it, otherwise leave it.

Prices on the E36 3 series are in recent decline (except M3), so you should be able to get that car for around $10k or less.

Ive got a 318ti. Still love it....yet still think it could use a tad bit more power. Its the 95 model with the 1.8 liter instead of the 1.9. The 1.8's had a few more HP ratings. 139 HP instead of like 137 or 136 for the 1.9. Mine has 78,000 on it now.
