I'm looking to start listening to some good hard rock music by artists that are from the european area. I already listen to rammstein, but I would like to know who else is out there.

IMHO, Enemy of God was one of the best metal cd's put out in 2005.

Rammstein really are nothing special. If you want some really good European metal then check out Ensiferum, Wintersun, Norther, and Opeth.

Those are all good, but don't sell Rammstein short they are sweet on an industrial metal level. Still they get epic as hell and that deep ass German voice molests you through the speakers...

Oh and to the original guy asking check out what this dude says and also Dark Tranquillity and Evergrey, both Swedish, and Angel Dust (Germans)

If you're going to look into Dark Tranquillity, you might as well look at old In Flames. Although I like the new stuff too...
