Does anyone follow European artists? I've been following a few for some time now, but I guess I'm looking for some new ones.

Just to contribute before receiving, I'll include a site that I find intriguing. It's a great shop in Prague. I bet it'd be cheap considering it's an eastern block European country: http://www.tribo.cz

Here is work from an artist named Dja Dja from the site:

Here's some from a guy named Peter Baverne from the same site:

I like the detail in this one considering it's a traditional style tat:

    This is Michael Pisa:

    I like this website: http://www.alexdepasetattoo.com/

It's a guy from Italy that has quite a knack for realism and fine artsy-esque style work. There are also great works in his drawing and paintings section too.

    Examples of his work:

This guy is incredible. When I go to Rome I should really consider going to get work done by him. Wow :bigthumb:

Wow, awesome! You should definitely post pictures if it all goes down as planned.

I don't know if you have an eta on when you're going to Rome, but you should really contact the artist pretty far in advance if you haven't thought of it already. I think that foreign artists are pretty accomodating to those that are coming from other countries to get work from them.

    Good luck!

Here's an artist I'm sure most people have heard of: http://www.boristattoo.zalaszam.hu/

His name is Boris and he's from Hungary. He can pretty much do whatever he wants.

Here are some examples of his diversity:

I really like how he incorporates realism into his Japanese work:

Wow! His style is definitely not for everyone, but it's very unique. I like it alot. If I'm not mistaken, he had a guest spot at the first shop I posted for quite some time. Great looking stuff.
