GUN Estimated Value of a gun..can anyone help?

    My step-dad is looking to sell a shotgun that he got from his father..

    it's a 1903 Army Issued .30-06 Springfield. it's in good condition...he's just wondering on an estimate.

    Assuming it is an M1903 it could go anywhere from $400 to $1500+ if it is in excellent condition and a low serial number. Without pics and more info it would be hard for anyone to give much help. You can buy them that were refurbished at some point and then packed in cosmoline for $400 from CMP.

    that rifle is worth at least $400 depending on where you are.
    When was it manufactured and whats the S/N?
    Also, who made it?

    I'll find that out. i know it's never been refurbished, just passed on down and it hasnt been used in some time...i'll get pics, s/n, etc soon.
