    i'm a noob at this... but which supplements do you guys think are "essential?" and what do they do? (i.e. burn fat, build muscle, promote healthy joints, etc.)

    I went to the vitamin shoppe yesterday and felt totally out of place... had no idea what anything did :hs:

    right now, i'm taking
    amino fuel (pill form)
    green tea extract
    flax seed oil (don't know what exactly THIS does)
    multivitamin

    my goals... I guess to lose fat and gain muscle, nothing spectacular... not exactly fitting into the "bulking" or "cutting" category, but I guess more cutting than bulking :dunno:

    No, if you don't have a clue what normal supplements to take for general health, EC is not essential for cutting.

    Read up on google about RDA for vitamins/minerals. Find some articles about people who are training and mineral/vitamin deficits, find out what applies to you, then go into a drug store and read through all the ingredients and brands and make your own decision.

    doh, I forgot that he wanted essential supps :o

    I = dumb

    Kiddies, don't take EC unless you know what the hell you're doing. And it's not essential to fat loss. Ever.

    definantly fish oil, green tea extract, a good multi, and whey

    if you're cutting, sesathin is really safe and effective.
