What's your list of firearms that we should all own, at a minimum? Something that covers your bases and also gives a good cross-section of commonly owned firearms.

    Mine:
    Glock handgun
Remington 870 or Mossberg 500/590 series
    AR-15
    .38 special/.357 magnum revolver
    1911
    Ruger 10/22

Good AR, a 9mm Glock, and a good .308 bolt gun.

    .

Only thing I might consider adding is some type of relic gun M44 or something and M1A but I think the ones listed above should cover it.

I think I could have about all the fun I'd ever need with a j-frame, maybe a full to compact 9mm, an ar15, and a .22 handgun.

    .22 bolt action.
    1911.
Long range weapon of choice, something you can make a killing shot with at 250M.
    Mossy 500 for the zombies.

I dont think there are specifics, but basic platforms.

Handgun (9mm, .40 or .45) brand, whatever you shoot best
Shotgun (12 ga) semi, pump or OU, whatever you feel best with
Semi-auto rifle again, whatever style and caliber you like best
Bolt rifle - ditto on style caliber
.22 of some kind for plinking/practice

If I had to choose specifics, for me it would be a:
Sig 226 in .40 for best compromise
    Benelli semi auto shotgun
    Good quality AR
    Savage 10 or Remmy 700 in .308
Ruger 10/22 or Browning Buckmark for a .22 (or both, they're cheap enough)

    Handguns
    • Reliable centerfire pistol 9mm or greater
    • Magnum-caliber revolver of your choice - ideally double-action
    • .22LR pistol
    Long guns
    • AR, AK, or other magazine-fed "assault rifle" derivative
    • 12 ga pump shotgun
    • .22LR rifle
    • Scoped rifle in .308 or better
I need a .22LR pistol and a scoped .308 rifle from that list.

    for me...

    FAL w/lots of mags
    AK w/lots of mags
    Some kind of reliable semi-auto in 9 and/or .45 w/extra mags
    a 1911
some kind of bolt rifle that starts with at least .30
    10/22
    at least 1 wheelgun (.357 mag +)
    a 12g

I have everything except the 1911. Not in a big hurry for that though.

Whats the going rate for FAL mag's now a days? I doubt I'll sell them unless I decide to get a G3 over a FAL, I'm undecided on what I want.
