    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    I love the people against it, the one guy made it seem like kids wouldn't fight in school if there wasn't UFC or that type of violence. I'm sure humans are a very peaceful specie, I'm sure of it...:hsugh:

    I DON'T like kids competing in MMA that young. Period. Plus, those kids shouldn't be sparring in class with mma gloves and no head gear. That's bullshit.

    i think kids should stick to traditional arts.

    god knows i felt compelled at times, and have, thrown a kid or two using my judo when they really pissed me off/came at me... and I wouldn't want my kid to have the temptation to be throwing elbows, strikes, GnP in a school setting. period. knowing an art or two to be tempted to use is bad enough, knowing and being taught how to be deadly in a fight is too much responsibility for kids imo

    I don't think kids should be able to train. They don't have near the self control as an adult. A kid that trains could really hurt another kid in a stupid school yard fight.

  12. Wow, that was covered in a reasonably non-sensationalist way.

  13. Kids also don't have near the amount of power/strength as an adult. I think it's pretty difficult for even a trained kid to hurt another kid.

    WTF! they have them sparr and fight without head gear? That's just fucking insane, those kids are going to have some serious brain damage by the time they are teens. :ugh:

    when they start kneeing and elbowing from top positions.. when they start tryin to snap on crazy heel hooks.. you can blow up knees easily with that

  16. yeah I don't think elbows or heel hooks should be used at all in kids mma.

    it'd be reasonable to ban knees entirely too.

    It all depends on the kid. In 2 years of teaching probably 50-75 kids, I've only had 2 of them take it to the school yard. One was a 5 year old girl that double legged a boy pushing her, and another was a 14 year old girl that did a high double to slam on a guy saying he fought UFC and could beat her ass while advancing toward her. Nothing but egos hurt in those situations.

    true.. i just dont think that using knees is neccesary for what you want a kid to learn.. and for them to advance.. but the problem that they mentioned is that theres no proper sanctioning group for any of this
