I built this computer 3 weeks ago:

    AMD 64 FX-53
    Asus A8N SLi Deluxe
    2gb Crucial PC3200 Dual Channel
    36gb Raptor
    ATI X850XT Plat PCIe
    X-Connect 500W PS

Its been running pretty slow rebooting/shutting down and everything in between. Already had to RMA my Raptor. Anyways, everything seemed to be working fine, I reboot and no video and get the audible message "system failed VGA test". I call Asus and he has me do what I had already tried: reset CMOS, reseat video card, swapped RAM around. He paused for about 20 seconds and said, its definately your PSU. I dont have another board to try the card, but I think someone at work might. How can I check the PSU, besides checking voltages?

I did the following with my RAM

RAM in A1B1 or A2B2 = VGA error

stick 1 in either of the 4 slots = VGA error

stick 2 in B1orB2 = VGA error same stick in A1 or A2 = mem error,

Does this mean stick 2 is bad?

When my video did work the BIOS was registering 2gb, will it still do that even if one is bad?
