when i installed my new 250gb harddrive in my mbp, i preemptively made a 40 gb partition for windows. i completely forgot that its bootcamp thats supposed to make the partition... is there any way to delete this partition or make it work?

    thanks

10.5 can do live partitioning, 10.4 can't - youd have to use ipartition...
if ur on 10.5 just go to disk utility and u can do it there

    open disk utility
    click on the full drive
    go to partition tab
highlight the partition to be erased
    click the minus button below
    click ok
drag the right corner of the remaining partition to the bottom of box
    click apply
    click ok

    enjoy

did you install the boot camp drivers cd? make sure its the most recent cd, it shouldve asked you to burn the CD before you started the boot camp process.
