What's out there in the MS world that competes with Drupal, Joomla, etc?

What do the large companies use for their websites?

Work wants to leave the existing CMS we're using (Squiz www.squiz.net). We're a Microsoft-based company, so something MS based would be good.. i've got a strong case pushing for Drupal and just setting up a couple of standalone linux web servers, but they want to see what windows-based solutions are out there before going this way..

"Cheap" doesn't matter, quality does. It's a large gov't organisation, hacked-together solutions are not an option. It has to be a full-featured CMS with role-based access, workflows, multi-server setup, etc.

depends on how large the company is.

    I wouldn't recommend it for a small-medium sized one

edit: nvm. Didn't read it all to see it's a large govt based corp

We do use Sharepoint for our intranet stuff.. but as a website CMS it's not a good solution.

There's way too many issues for me to bother writing them all out here, but we did look into it, and in summary it's slow and bloated, output is messy and not customisable (unless you void your MS support by messing inside the hive), and overall.. as a website CMS, it's a great intranet ;)

I would say Drupal, my company is switching over to it, and we are kind of a big fish.

Show me drupal running with ASP and SQL :hsugh:

I use drupal plenty, but as I said in the first post this needs to be MS based.
