I was in the AF and have an RE code that doesn't allow me to re-enlist into the AF so I'm gonna enlist into the Army. Now say I enlist in the Army and my contract is completed, would I then be able to enlist into the AF? Basically kinda beating the system or no?

No because you are still prior enlisted, and the AF is taking less than 1% right now (and has been for several years). If you are lucky enough to get into the Army with your RE code then I'd just stay there.

I'm not worried about if the AF is accepting this or that many people. I'm just curious if I get a good RE code from the Army does that erase my old RE code?

Isn't that contradictory to what you just asked?

LOL no it's not. The question isn't if they are accepting this many people or that many people. I'm asking if I get a good RE code from the Army, does it erase my RE code from the AF that wouldn't enable me to enlist with them again? Thus making it possible to enlist in the AF again.

Again no...because the AF is accepting less than 1% of prior enlisted....regardless if your RE code is erased or not.

go into Army aviation...USAF is very full, Navy's getting close to being just as picky.

Army will take you usually with RE-3, if you're RE-4 you have a shitload of work to do and finger crossing, even then it's not likely.

hell, with a 10-year old RE-3 it still took me 6 months to get where I am now, and I just finished the waivers I needed.

oh, and if your 214 has no remarks, the better.
