They'll have to, because that will soon become the criminal's easiest available weapon there. Then they'll baffled by the rampant stonings. "These things are everywhere and the ease of access is causing this spree of violence."

Let em, then we'll invade. The only ones who are going to fend us off would be that one guy with a Glock 18.

course just as with the gun ban, the criminals will still use guns and knives. just one less way for the people to fight back with.

What the hell? As much damage can be done with a chef's knife as with an "assault knife". What the hell is an "assault knife" anyway?

I know lots of Asian families who have large butcher style knives for cooking and cleaving large portions of meat. Would they ban those too?

hey, those assault knives have HANDLES on them, to make them easier to cut with, and thus MORE DEADLY! we at the Worldwide Illegalization of Manmade Potential Stabbing-tools Organization (WIMPS) demand that these assault knives be banned, and that all future sharply edged objects, including but not limited to: tables, chairs, knives, spoons, sporks, forks, walls, and fingernails be made with permanently attached rubber edge-guards, to protect people from potential injury. you never know when a kid might get curious, and walk into a wall. the WIMPS organization strives every day to help make the world a rubber-padded world, where no one needs to worry about taking care of themselves. we want the government to do it for you.

nothing beats the hobo life, stabbing people with my hobo knife!

this is retarded. how about banning cars, those have lead to the deaths of people too! so have all kinds of crap!

obviously banning stuff isnt working, time to rethink this idea and go back to the drawing board.

Police in the UK wear knife proof vests, not bullet proof vests...gives you an idea of what the larger threat is.
