    possible, yeah.

worth it, maybe, depending on how much you pay for the engine.

you would need, rsx subframe, motor, tranny, ecu, pnp wiring harness (unless you want to do it yourself), hasport mounts, eg civic PS hose, and a few other things.

let me tell you, with your current motor, the d17a1, do not do any bolton mods, with IHE you'll gain MAYBE 4whp, and lose all your low end torque (there really isn't any).

starting with a dx, though, may i suggest some sway bars, front and rear. the 01-05 DX (VP for 04-05) didn't come with sway bars stock and handles VERY poorly.

I had an 04 VP, and most of the stuff i did to it was for autocrossing, and it won me a few 1st place trophies.

Here are some pics of my 04 DX-VP, and the list of mods i had done by the time i got rid of it, because of the weak tranny that was falling apart internally:

    it's not worth the money.

you'll do all this shit to a car that doesn't even have ABS. :dunno:

abs is a crutch for people who dont know how threshold braking works (ie: morons)

it wouldn't be too feasible, since the dc5/ep3/civic are all on the same platform and mounts and other parts are already available. there's one guy that swapped a b16 into an 01, and boosted it, but he's like the ceo of AEM or something.

not to mention it wouldn't be legal to swap a b series into an 03, since the last B was made in 01 i think.

it's less stressful in the snow with abs though.

Dude, you have four wheels and one brake pedal. You cannot possibly have proper control over all four brakes at once without the intervention of a device that will redirect brakeforce to the wheels that have better grip at each instant.

ABS is brilliant. You are not.

the street isn't a racetrack. even talented and experienced drivers will run into conditions on the street that they're not ready for.

oh, just for reference, 7thgencivic.com has been bought out, and all the old members have moved over to the former owners new site, www.importpassion.com. dumb name, but right now it's just a 7thgen forum, but over time as we gain members it's intended to be an all-imports forum.

    it was started up yesterday.

I'm surprised at your attitude. I agree that not all ABS is the same, but I lived on LI for a few years and the traffic was fairly similar to what it is here in Northern VA. When you've got ten feet between you and the guy in front of you and you're both doing 75mph and you're blocked in on the sides and suddnly the road lights up red, you need to stop now and you don't need to be bothered with how the stopping is going to take place. Besides, as I mentioned before, even if you could be bothered with how to stop your vehicle manually, you still wouldn't have enough control over the brakeforce to actually make it happen yourself.

yeah i think i saw you on there a few times. xoxide (new owners) changed a bunch of shit, didn't introduce themselves or announce any changes, so all the old members got pissed off.

old owner starts a new site, alot of the members of 7thgen abondon 7thgen, send out PMs to all members telling them about the new site, and we all move over there.

check out the traffic for the last 3 months:

traffic went from 1500 visitors a day to nothing.

You can do the swap, it's going to cost a ton of money if you don't do the work your self. I would go with Hasport motor mounts the harness could be a PITA though.
