How do you guys avoid terribly harsh sunlight (like in the open field). I tried to shoot in the shade as much as possible but some shots required being right under the sun. No clouds in the sky at all.

I realize I could use an off camera flash/strobe to overpower the sun, but I try to keep my engagement sessions moving at a fast/fun pace and don't like to take time to be playing with lights.... not to mention I'm not a huge fan of that style...

The harsh shadows really ruined a lot of otherwise good shots :hs:

6 is a bit distracting w/ the flowers in focus also. I almost thought you were just taking pictures of flowers in the middle of a session. :dunno:

Were you using a circular polarizer at all? It REALLY helps eliminate harsh light and haze and helps pop colors a bit more.

I never ever shoot outdoors in the day without one.

I like #5 the most. I notice a ton of chromatic aberration in a lot of the 50mm photos. Is it just that particular lens?

#15 is also very nice I think.

    true that

come on, a $15 haircut would do him good, at least either grow the bangs, or put them in the air, but it looks completely silly like that

I guess he has a girl and doesn't care at all about his looks. I can'T imagine her gf didn't tell him to get a haircut!

for #7, should have used the other hand and had her ring in focus instead of a flower / weed lol
