This is a really long engagement session post. It is a very close friend of mine, so we went all out.

    Lenses used include the 14-24 f/2.8, 16 fisheye, 50 f/1.2 Ai-S, 85 f/1.4

Our first stop was the park area on Clemson's campus where Chris proposed to Lauren.

I could not decide which of the next two I liked better, so I'm posting both!

And our last stop in Clemson… Death Valley! Although I'm not a Clemson Tiger fan, I absolutely loved the shots.

Wow. Thats a lot to look through. All Ill say straight off the bat is that I feel like they are not the important thing in a lot of pictures. That bothers me personally. I understand everyone has their own style though and maybe thats just yours. I just feel like lately a lot of people out there almost use the bride and groom as accessories in their pictures :hs:

I like 15 more than 14 and 19 the most only because you actually get to see them.

18 bothers me cause I feel like its usually the guy kissing the girl on the forehead. Other than that, like it was mentioned, the one in the stadium, I can see what you were going for but they're too small. And the one where the ring is in focus and they're not, I feel like thats stronger than the one that follows it.

I like 31 because I love Coca-Cola (and the creative use of fisheye). But they are all very good.

Wow, that's a lot of pictures. I liked most, some were a bit underexposed. Either that or the vignette was already hitting the subject. #4 seems a bit pointless, I preferred the previous picture where the couple were focused. 14 and 15 is tough for me, depends on what you want to focus on.

I like them. I also really like how the wide angle worked on the coke ad painted on the building.

 Not much of a view on that last picture. I like the scenes at the first place the most.

it looks so much better when the couple dresses up instead of showing up in shorts and flip flops.

    nice pics btw.

Yeah, its a nice area for our little town, but I see what you mean.

Fair enough. We drove all the way to clemson (45-1hr) to include some of the campus. Not to get so tight you couldn't even tell where they were.

thats just my style, I like to include the surroundings of places that are important to the subjects. they both went to school at clemson, and the brick wall was the side of a theatre that she used to perform at. everything had some sort of meaning to them.

    just went for it :)

i agree. but they seemed comfortable and happy so I didn't want to intervene too much. i def need to improve on my posing.
