Does anyone eat these pre or post workout? My G/F picked me up a box of Power Bar triple threat bars. My ultimate goal is losing weight (cardio) and gaining muscle (lifting). I have lost 20 pounds in the last month eating healthy and am not sure if I should eat these.

Ps. Thanks to all who have posted on this board. I have gained A LOT of good info and lurk here everyday.

if they're like most power bars they have a lot of sugar. eat them only post work out when eating sugar wont result in it being stored as fat.

I have a clif bar everyday at like 3pm which helps get me by till dinner (6-7pm)

I'd make sure it fits in your macros before you start inhaling them though.

Exchange them for some whey protein, or possible a protein blend (i.e. whey, casein, egg etc)

If you want them for post-workout, whey only might be better but for general dieting and fat loss the blend will be better :)
