Just wondering if anyone knows any effective sites and proven workouts for mountain-climbing preparation. I knwo I could easily search on Google, but I wouldn't know how proven it'd be. I'm likely going to Japan this summer, and might climb Mt. Fuji. It's not that intense like Everest or even Kilimanjaro, but I'd still like to prepare. I'm sure I should be focusing more on cardio and less on weight training. I'm currently training body parts 4-5 times a week. Logically, I'm thinking of going 2-3 total body, and 3-4 separate days for cardio. I'm thinking 30-40 minutes of steady state would be better than 20 mins of hiit, since I'm trying to build endurance, but I might be wrong.

    Help anyone?

    .

The only way to get better at it... is to actually do it.
Load up a pack and go hiking for a few hours.
