I never post much around here but go easy on me :mamoru:

Was at a ex mental hospital pottering around all the rooms which most have been wrecked with graffiti and this was one of the only ones which were still in tack. Bit disappointed as my mum was telling me when she worked there (nah she wasn't a patient honest..) that there were padded rooms, strait jackets but this place is like a little town and there is so many buildings, it's awesome

Wasn't sure if someone sitting in the shot looked better or not? Thoughts?

Pics look cool, but I'm hardly even an amateur.

The only thing I noticed is that they don't look evened out. The first pic looks like it's leaning to the right and the second one looks like it's leaning left.

Others can comment better on content of the photos. :o

I'm just getting red x's :dunno:

Edit: I can see them now. Really cool. I wish I knew of some places around here that were abandoned like that

    Love the first one :bigthumb:

Second one is alright... I think I know what you were going for. I would try if from either side if possible... or maybe against from the floor. Just my thoughts.

I like Legendr34's top one... but without the glow around the head... I figured it was just a fast fix though.

Id be scared shitless walking into a place like that. Was it just you and a friend? I would need a group of people and a gun.

Really dig what you did with your edit legend, what was your workflow with the first?

The hospital was in New Norfolk, Hobart which is far away from the city and is actually quite rough. The day was especially windy so as I wandered through these huge empty buildings I could hear doors slamming as the wind came through. There were many identical buildings and each have their own cells or bedrooms which are tiny with some still having their mattresses and drug prescription sheets scattered on the ground.

Just to give you a idea of how big the place is, I've boxed the areas which are abandoned. The buildings which aren't have been sold for commercial usage.

Pretty keen to hit it back up soon as someone told me that a certain psych ward did their exercise a underground yard :ugh:

    The first picture is cool.

I like Legendr34's pictures. The second one would be better if there wasn't a glow around the head though

I need to find one of these. I've always wanted to go to one and can't believe there actually were ones that were so damn big :eek4:
